2008-M-066             Jacob Stephen Brown, petitioner, Appellant, vs. State of Minnesota, Respondent.

In 1988, Brown pleaded guilty to the first-degree murder of Carmen Larson and the attempted first-degree murder of Michelle Raisch.  The Court rejected his direct appeal and his first petition for post-conviction relief in 1989.  The Court rejected his second petition for post-conviction relief in 1992.  Because the petitioner did file or could have filed all of his current appeals on this current petition for post-convictions relief during his earlier appeals, the Court rejected this petition under the precedent of Knaffla.
