2007-M-064                State of Minnesota, Respondent, vs. Jermaine Ferguson, Appellant.

Appellant Jermaine Ferguson was convicted in Hennepin County District Court of first-degree murder, and attempted first-degree murder in the 2004 shooting death of Joseph Papasodora and injuries to Gordon Hill and Ernest Houle.

In this consolidated appeal, Ferguson argues that (1) the district court erred in limiting cross-examination of a key prosecution witness; (2) the evidence was insufficient to support the convictions; and (3) an evidentiary hearing was required on his post-conviction claim of recanted testimony.  The Court affirmed the convictions.
